    Great article Mike.
    Are there any useful data on the cross-training program that are popular now like the Bob Harper/Jillian Michaels programs? I have a couple of Harper’s dvd’s and the workouts are really intense and seem to combine aerobic and strength training in a balanced fasion. And he likes Burpees too!
    The next question here is: If it is important to add strength/muscle work to your running/cycling routine for longevity, what is the minimum dose to impact longevity? Not sure if the data you reference can provide this kind of detail yet?
